Impact Personnel are currently seeking experienced Steel Fixers for local high-rise construction projects in the Perth Metro area. This opportunity is suited to candidates with proven experience across structural and concrete works within commercial, civil and large-scale construction environments.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Valid White Card / Construction Card
- Minimum 2 years' experience within steel fixing
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling and labour-intensive tasks
- Reliable and positive 'can do' attitude
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing and installing steel reinforcement bars and mesh in concrete structures
- Cutting, bending, and shaping steel bars and mesh to required specifications
- Assembling reinforcement cages and mats for beams, slabs, walls and columns
- Using hand tools and power tools to cut, bend and tie reinforcement materials
- Maintaining a protected and tidy work area in line with site safety requirements
