BioBlue is an Australian-owned manufacturer and national distributor of AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid. We supply customers across Australia through our network of production facilities, bulk tanker deliveries and packaged distribution.
This is a varied role combining packaged freight coordination, customer service/support, and logistics compliance administration. You will take ownership of our palletised and packaged freight movements from allocation through to delivery while supporting the broader day-to-day operation of our logistics function.
About the Role
Packaged Freight Allocation & Management
- Allocate and book palletised and packaged freight across our national multi-carrier freight network.
- Coordinate collections and dispatch requirements across our sites.
- Monitor consignments through to delivery and proactively follow up delays, missed deliveries and other exceptions.
- Liaise with freight providers to resolve issues and ensure required service timeframes are met.
- Maintain accurate freight procurement, booking and dispatch records.
Sales Administration & Customer Support
- Support our Sales Administration and Accounts Receivable Team.
- Process and enter customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Generate sales invoices using MYOB AccountRight.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide delivery status updates and ETAs.
- Liaise with customers, sales, production and logistics to coordinate orders through to successful delivery.
- Proactively communicate and follow up where delivery issues or delays arise.
Logistics & Compliance Administration
- Maintain logistics, dispatch, driver and fatigue-management documentation.
- Check and audit driver work diaries and fatigue-management records for compliance.
- Provide general administrative support to the Logistics Manager and logistics team.
About You
This role will suit someone who is highly organised, responsive and comfortable taking ownership of multiple tasks through to completion.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience in freight coordination, logistics administration, sales administration, order management or a similar role.
- Experience working with courier, pallet or multi-carrier freight services.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to following up outstanding tasks and deliveries.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and business software systems.
Experience with transport compliance, driver fatigue management, MYOB AccountRight or freight management systems will be highly regarded.
