Position Overview

As a Machine Operator, you will be integral to the fabrication process, operating and maintaining advanced sheet metal machinery to ensure precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help the team meet production goals and deliver superior products.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and oversee sheet metal machinery, including laser cutters, press brakes, and purlin machines.

- Set up machinery according to engineering drawings and job specifications.

- Perform routine maintenance to maintain optimal machine performance.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in sheet metal fabrication.

- Sheet metal trade qualification is advantageous but not essential.





- Familiarity with various sheet metal machinery and tools.

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

- Strong attention to detail and a focus on precision.

- Effective problem-solving skills and teamwork capabilities.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment.

- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.

- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

- Full Australian working rights (citizen or permanent resident).

- Ability to pass a functional medical and drug & alcohol test.
