Looking for a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same?

Associated Gaskets is looking for a reliable and motivated Machine Operator / Production Team Member to join our team at our Revesby facility.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, making things, solving practical problems and seeing the finished product at the end of the day.

You don't need to know everything about our industry when you start — we'll train you on our machinery, materials and processes. What we're really looking for is someone with the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

What you'll be doing

You'll be part of our production team manufacturing a wide range of industrial components and custom-made products for customers across Australia.

Your day-to-day work will include:

- Operating a variety of production machinery including water cutters, knife cutters, milling machines and slitting equipment

- Loading and unloading materials and machinery

- Measuring, cutting and fabricating materials to customer specifications

- Inspecting finished products to make sure they meet our quality standards

- Reading and following job instructions and production requirements

- Managing materials and keeping the production area organised

- Prioritising jobs to meet production deadlines

- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping

- Working alongside experienced members of our production team

- Helping out across different areas of the factory when required

Because we manufacture a wide variety of products, you'll work with different materials, machinery and jobs rather than doing exactly the same thing every day.





What we're looking for

We're interested in people who are practical, dependable and take pride in doing a good job.

You'll ideally have

- Good attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of quality
- A practical, "have a go" attitude
- The ability to follow instructions and work safely

- Valuable communication skills
- The ability to work independently while also being a team player

- Good organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A willingness to learn new skills and work with different materials and equipment

Previous experience in a manufacturing, factory, fabrication, trade or similar hands-on environment, as well as experience operating machinery or production equipment, would be a bonus but isn't essential. Full training will be provided to the right person.

A forklift licence is also desirable but not essential.
