Next Storey Home Additions builds second-storey additions on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We're after a full-time carpenter for the finishing end of our builds. Someone whose fixout speaks for itself and who cares about the details other people miss.

You'll handle the fixout, the fit-off and the maintenance items at the back end of each project. Your job is to get everything to a standard where we hand over right the first time.

What you'll be doing

- Second fix: doors, architraves, skirtings, cabinetry install and finishing detail
- The finishing work that sets the quality of our builds
- Working through the maintenance list at the end of each job so it's handed over defect free
- Working off plans and holding a consistently high standard of finish
- Dealing with clients in their homes, so presentation and manner matter
- Keeping your work area clean, safe and tidy, often in occupied homes

What we're looking for





- Trade qualified (Cert III in Carpentry or equivalent)
- At least 5 years on the tools with robust fixout and finishing skills
- A proper eye for detail and finish. This is the main thing we care about
- Your own tools and your own ute or van
- Able to work on your own and run your own day
- Good with clients. Polite, presentable and trustworthy in someone's home
- White Card and NSW driver's licence
- Reliable, on time, tidy
