As part of our national recruitment campaign, we are seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join our maintenance teams across our processing facilities in Current South Wales, South Australia and Victoria.

Available Locations

South Australia

Lobethal – Adelaide Hills

Nestled in the picturesque Adelaide Hills.

- Roster: 4 days on / 4 days off

Murray Bridge – Murraylands

Opportunities available at our new Pallamana site.

- Roster: 7 days on / 7 days off

Victoria

Stawell – Gateway to the Grampians

Located approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and close to the Grampians.

- Roster: Day shift

New South Wales

Bourke - Gateway to the outback

- Roster: Day shift 14 on 14 Off +10k Drive in Drive Out /or FIFO 25k

About the Role

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a critical role in keeping our processing facilities operating safely, reliably and efficiently.

Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out preventative, planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.





- Responding to plant and equipment breakdowns to minimise operational downtime.

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults across production equipment and essential services.

- Maintaining conveyors, processing equipment, pumps, gearboxes, bearings and associated mechanical systems.

- Supporting the maintenance of water supply, compressed air, refrigeration, boiler and other essential service systems.

- Completing scheduled preventative maintenance in accordance with site maintenance programs.

- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

- Assisting with maintenance stores, spare parts and stock management.

- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting on maintenance activities.

- Working closely with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.

- Supporting a strong workplace health and safety culture.

- Mentoring and sharing knowledge with apprentices and other maintenance team members where required.

What You’ll Bring

Like our best cuts of meat, there are a few essential qualities we’re looking for:

- Formal mechanical trade qualification

- Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance.

- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

- Experience in food processing, pharmaceutical, FMCG or another fast-paced GMP environment will be highly regarded.

- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

- The ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and equipment issues.

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety,



with a genuine “Safety First” mindset.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

- A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach to your work.

- A valid Australian driver’s licence.
