About Our Client

Our Client is a leading Australian manufacturer supplying high-quality animal nutrition products. They operate a busy production facility with a strong focus on safety, reliability and preventative maintenance.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for the below duties:

- Diagnosing machinery faults and restoring equipment to full operation
- Completing planned and reactive maintenance across the facility
- Performing welding, machining and fabrication work
- Installing, aligning and commissioning recent equipment
- Completing general repairs throughout the plant and buildings
- Minimising equipment downtime and supporting production requirements
- Recording maintenance activities using Guardian CMMS

What You Will Need To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

- Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner




- Minimum five years’ manufacturing maintenance experience
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Current Forklift Licence
- Working at Heights ticket
- Confined Spaces ticket preferred
- Experience using Guardian CMMS or similar maintenance software
- Welding, machining and fabrication experience
