About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Managed Services Engineer to join our team.

You'll support a range of client environments across Microsoft 365, Intune, networking, security, and end-user systems.

This is a hands-on role involving:

- Technical support and troubleshooting

- Microsoft 365 administration

- Intune device management

- Onboarding, migration and improvement projects

- Documentation and knowledge management

- Security-focused administration

- Automation and process improvement

- Onsite client visits when required

This role suits someone who can confidently manage day-to-day technical issues independently while knowing when to escalate or collaborate.

No two weeks are exactly the same.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 12 months' experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP)

- Minimum 2 years' professional IT industry experience

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR)

- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience

- Hands-on Microsoft Intune experience

- Experience using PSA and RMM platforms

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes

- Comfortable working both remotely and onsite with clients

- HaloPSA experience

- Microsoft Entra ID experience

- Microsoft Defender and security experience

- PowerShell scripting and automation

- Project delivery experience

- Strong documentation discipline

- Experience improving internal processes

Our Working Environment

We're a small, experienced team that values professionalism, accountability and common sense.

We trust people to manage their responsibilities, communicate openly, and focus on outcomes.

You'll work closely with the owners of the business and have direct access to decision-makers.

The role is primarily office and client-site based during onboarding. Flexible hybrid arrangements may be available once you're familiar with our clients, systems and service standards.

Candidates located within reasonable commuting distance of our Melbourne office will be best suited to the role.
