About the role:
We're looking for a versatile marketing all-rounder who can turn their hand to almost anything the marketing function needs, from writing and designing to campaign execution and reporting. You'll be equally comfortable drafting a script, designing the graphics that go with it, building a landing page, or pulling together a campaign report.
This is a true generalist role for someone who thrives on variety, wants ownership across the full marketing mix, and can move fluidly between strategy, content, and creative execution. Robust copywriting and graphic design skills are essential, as you'll be hands-on with both, daily, but you'll also flex into broader marketing tasks as needed.
What you'll do:
Content writing & storytelling
- Develop social media video and podcast scripts that are engaging, relatable, and on-brand.
- Write website content that is clear, structured, and conversion-focused.
- Create high-ranking SEO blog articles and educational content that simplify complex topics.
- Turn real-life recovery stories into compelling, human narratives.
Graphic design & visual content
- Design graphics for social media posts, stories, campaigns, and website content.
- Create visually engaging assets (quote cards, carousels, infographics, campaign graphics) aligned with brand guidelines.
- Design supporting visuals for landing pages, digital ads, and marketing collaterals.
- Use design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to produce polished, on-brand visual content.
Copywriting & campaigns
- Write copy for videos, digital campaigns, websites, landing pages, blogs, and ads.
- Craft messaging that builds trust and encourages action.
- Adapt tone and voice for different audiences: injured workers, employers, insurers, and medical professionals.
- Collaborate closely with the wider team to align messaging, visuals, and campaign execution.
Marketing generalist responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across social, email, web, and paid.
- Manage and schedule content across social platforms and monitor engagement and performance.
- Assist with email marketing, EDMs, and marketing automation as needed.
- Help coordinate events, or partnerships where relevant.
- Support basic reporting and analytics across campaigns and channels.
- Pitch in wherever the marketing function needs a hand; this role is built for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats.
Content & design strategy
- Ensure all content and visuals align with brand voice and messaging.
- Use data and feedback to refine content and campaign performance.
- Test different angles, hooks, and formats to see what resonates best.
- Stay across content trends, design trends, SEO basics, and audience behaviour.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years' experience in a marketing generalist, content, or design role,
with strong copywriting AND graphic design skills as a must.
- Agency and in-house experience preferred; you understand both the pace of agency work and the depth of an in-house brand role.
- Strong ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging content.
- Confident, hands-on design skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Solid understanding of tone, structure, and persuasive writing.
- Comfortable jumping between channels and tasks (social, web, email, campaigns) without losing quality or consistency.
- Experience with basic marketing reporting/analytics is a plus.
- Comfortable receiving and acting on feedback, with a collaborative, positive approach.
- Bonus: knowledge of SEO, email marketing platforms, or paid social/digital advertising.
- Creative, adaptable, empathetic, and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to undergo a reference check as part of the recruitment process.
Why join us:
- Be part of a purpose-driven team improving lives through helping injured workers recover.
- Create content, visuals, and campaigns that help people feel informed, supported, and confident.
- Flexible, supportive team culture focused on outcomes and creativity.
- See your work make a real impact on people's recovery journeys.
How to apply:
Please send us your resume and portfolio (showcasing your design, writing, results, performance, and any broader campaign or marketing work) and join us in creating marketing that makes workplace injury recovery better, one recovery at a time.
