Role Description The Master Watchmaker will perform full-service maintenance, repair, and restoration of a variety of watches and clocks, ensuring that each piece meets stringent performance and aesthetic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, disassembling and reassembling movements, regulating timekeeping, replacing components, and conducting thorough quality checks. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workshop, documenting work performed, and occasionally consulting with team members or clients on technical matters.





This is a full-time, on-site role based at DLUX JEWELLERS in Randwick, NSW.

Qualifications

- Solid proficiency in watch repair and servicing of mechanical and quartz watches.
- Experience working with clocks, including diagnosis, repair, and adjustment of clock mechanisms.
- Demonstrated skills in quality control, with a focus on precision, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
- High level of accuracy in all technical tasks, including small-part handling, assembly, and calibration.
- Formal training or certification in watchmaking or horology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals, and use specialized watchmaking tools and equipment safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and the ability to work independently in a workshop environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and value of luxury timepieces.
