- $80,000 to $89,000 + 15.4% ABC Nominated Super

About The Role As Media Planning Assistant, you’ll provide essential administrative and coordination support to the team responsible for scheduling and delivering ABC Australia programming across the Asia Pacific region.

Reporting to the Channel Manager, ABC Australia, you’ll help ensure programs, content information and associated assets are accurately recorded, organised and delivered on time. While this is an administrative role, it requires strong numeracy skills, accuracy and an understanding of scheduling, as you’ll be working with program information, timings, data and multiple deadlines.

You’ll work closely with the International Scheduling and Content teams, supporting day-to-day workflows and helping keep information, systems and documentation up to date.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative support across scheduling, content delivery and promotional workflows.
- Assist with the creation, maintenance and distribution of accurate program metadata and information.
- Coordinate the collection,



organisation and tracking of program assets, documentation and deliverables.
- Maintain shared databases, folders and information records, ensuring teams can easily access current and accurate information.
- Support scheduling activities, including working with program information, timings and other data where accuracy is critical.
- Monitor deadlines and follow up with stakeholders to ensure information and deliverables are received on time.
- Provide general administrative support to the International Services team, including reporting, special projects and leave coverage.

About You You’re organised, methodical and naturally attentive to detail. You enjoy working with information and systems and take pride in getting the small things right.

You’ll Bring

- Experience providing administrative or coordination support, ideally in a broadcasting, media, scheduling or content environment.
- Robust attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with data and information.
- Good numeracy skills and confidence working with timings, schedules and numerical information.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.




- Experience maintaining databases, information records or other structured systems.
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning and using different software applications.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of people.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with OnAir or other broadcast scheduling systems will be highly regarded, as will experience working with broadcast content, program metadata or media assets.
