We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Brighton Medical Clinic. This is not just a standard reception role - it’s a key front-of-house position suited to someone who takes pride in patient experience, enjoys a busy environment, and values being part of a supportive, well-run clinic with a positive team culture and a bit of fun along the way!
This part-time role requires availability across 3 days per week with the following set hours:
- Warmly greeting patients and creating a positive first impression of the clinic
- Managing appointments and ensuring smooth daily workflow
- Handling patient enquiries with professionalism, care and efficiency
- Maintaining accurate patient records within our electronic medical system
- Processing payments and supporting billing processes
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to doctors and nurses
- Helping keep the front desk organised, calm and running efficiently
What we're looking for
- Familiarity with Zedmed electronic medical record system is high regarded
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry
- Minimum 1 year of medical reception experience is required
- CPR training or willing to get within first month
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a warm and friendly demeanour
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- A team player who is reliable, proactive and takes ownership of their role
