Victoria Heart is a leading specialist Cardiology practice with locations in Windsor and East Melbourne , proudly supporting a team of 18 Cardiologists. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking enthusiastic, professional and patient-focused Medical Receptionists to join our team on a permanent part-time or full-time basis.

About the role

As a Medical Receptionist at Victoria Heart, you will be an integral part of our practice and the first point of contact for many of our patients.

Working closely with our Cardiologists and wider practice team, your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming patients with a warm, friendly and professional manner
- Managing appointments and organising follow-up consultations
- Answering telephone enquiries promptly and professionally
- Responding to and actioning emails
- Preparing for daily consulting sessions
- Processing payments, invoicing and receipting
- Assisting patients with account and billing enquiries
- Distributing correspondence, reports and results
- Maintaining accurate patient information and records
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Providing administrative support to our Cardiologists
- Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding patient information and all aspects of the practice
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of reception and the wider practice

About you We are looking for a people-focused and highly organised professional who takes pride in providing outstanding patient care and administrative support.

- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

- A genuine passion for working with people and helping patients feel comfortable and supported

Previous medical reception experience and knowledge of Genie software will be highly regarded. Victoria Heart offers the opportunity to build your career within a rapidly growing specialist cardiology practice.
