We are situated in Mt Gravatt Medical Precinct, a multi-storey building located at Logan Road. We provide quality and affordable respiratory consultation and lung function services to the local population.

Tasks & responsibilities:

To provide high quality customer and secretarial services to patients, doctors and other practice staff. A typical day will include

- Opening and/or closing the practice
- Answering and directing calls
- Booking appointments for doctors and/or allied health providers
- Invoicing, accepting, receipting payments for both in-patient and out-patient services provided by the doctors and launching medicare rebate
- Scanning, faxing, filling, posting and shredding documents
- Other related and appropriate duties as directed by the doctors

Working hours: MON to FRI, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, part time at least 3 days per week Qualifications: Bachelor degree desirable

Experience: Current experience as a medical receptionist desirable but not mandatory

Skills:





- Fluency in Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese) desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of Gentu or similar medical practice management software desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft outlook, MS word, Excel, PDF and other common software
- Ability to prioritise and organise with high attention to detail

Performance goals:

- Able to work independently with high efficiency and accuracy
- Develop patient-focused approach with genuine empathy and interest in their needs
