The Trustee for the Axford Farming Trust Key Responsibilities Operate tractors, harvesters, sprayers and other self-propelled agricultural machinery for cultivation, planting, fertilising, spraying and harvesting activities. Prepare, position and calibrate agricultural plant and attachments prior to operation. Monitor machinery performance and adjust equipment settings to achieve efficient field operations.
Conduct routine servicing, daily pre-start inspections and minor maintenance on farm machinery. Record operational activities, maintenance performed and equipment usage. Load, transport and handle agricultural materials and produce using appropriate mobile plant.
Follow workplace health and safety, environmental and biosecurity procedures.
