Minecon Recruitment is seeking experienced, quality-driven Multi-Skilled Operators for long-term positions at Hail Creek Coal Mine. In these roles, you will join a well-established site team delivering essential production and civil maintenance tasks across the operation. You will be operating modern, well-maintained fleets in an environment that prioritises safety, site culture, and operational performance. Whether you are bringing precision final trim grader expertise or high-tier civil drainage skill sets, these positions offer long-term job security, consistent hours, and a supportive crew environment.
Positions Available
- 2 x Multi-Skilled Final Trim Grader Operators: Must possess GPS Trimble experience combined with strong operating capabilities on either Excavators or Dozers.
- 1 x Final Trim Excavator Operator (2500 Machine): Specialized role executing precision drainage and batter work. Ideally suited for experienced civil operators transitioning or looking to apply their technical precision in office.
What On Offer
- Pay Rate: $60.00/hr Super
- Roster: 7:7 Roster (7 Days On, 7 Days Off) — Day Shift Only
- Shift Schedule: Wednesday to Tuesday turnover
- Setup: DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out)
- Camp & Meals: Full accommodation and meals provided on-site
- Tenure: Ongoing, stable contract opportunities
- Weekly pay with Superannuation paid on all hours worked
Key responsibilities
- Operating modern, well-maintained fleets across the operation
- Delivering essential production and civil maintenance tasks
- Executing precision drainage and batter work (for Final Trim Excavator role)
- Maintaining GPS Trimble equipment on graders (for Final Trim Grader roles)
- Operating Excavators or Dozers as required
- Adhering to site safety standards and zero-harm culture
About you
- Proven experience in open-cut mining or heavy civil infrastructure
- RII Statements of Attainment
- Signed Sign-Offs for relevant machinery (within 5 years)
- Final Trim proficiency (GPS Trimble experience essential for Grader roles)
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Commitment to site safety standards and zero-harm culture
- Ability to pass an instant drug and alcohol assessment
