Your new role – Municipal Employee - Construction
As a Municipal Employee - Construction,
you will get hands on and help Council deliver essential capital works projects across the Central Coast. You will support the construction and maintenance of roads, footpaths, drainage systems and other public assets, allowing you to contribute to the delivery of quality infrastructure that our community relies on every day. The role offers meaningful, community-focused work with plenty of variety and you’ll develop practical skills along the way.

Essential:
- A relevant qualification and/or experience in all facets of civil construction.
- The ability to operate a variety of heavy and light plant and equipment relevant to the role.
- Knowledge of safety issues relevant to the role, and strong commitment to safe working practices.
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Good literacy skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Aptitude for physical work.
- Hold a current Driver’s Licence, Medium Rigid Licence and Construction Industry White Card.
Salary and conditions: Full-time position (76 hours per fortnight). Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement – Works Level 3.1 ($38.04 per hour).
