Role: .NET Developer – API

Location: Sydney

Contract

Key Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+ and REST API development .
- Experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise APIs and microservices .
- Hands-on experience with event-driven development using Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, RabbitMQ , or similar technologies.
- Experience working with Apigee API Gateway , API management, API security and API lifecycle management.
- Robust understanding of JSON, REST, OAuth/JWT, and SQL Server .
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and Agile delivery .

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain APIs and backend services using .NET .
- Build event-driven integrations and messaging-based solutions .
- Integrate APIs with Apigee and support API management standards.
- Troubleshoot, enhance and support production integrations .
- Collaborate with architects, analysts and business teams to deliver integration requirements.

Preferred
- Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices .
- Banking or Financial Services experience.
