The Trustee for Warralily Family Dental Practice Unit Trust – Armstrong VIC

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team at Warralily Family Dental Practice in Armstrong Creek, VIC. This is a full time position offering an excellent opportunity to support our dental professionals and provide quality patient care in a modern dental practice environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining our high standards of patient care, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting dentists during patient examinations and treatment procedures
- Preparing treatment areas and sterilising dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Taking and processing dental radiographs (X-rays) under supervision
- Managing patient records and maintaining accurate documentation
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient bookings
- Providing chairside support during dental procedures, including suctioning and passing instruments
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment
- Assisting with administrative duties including accounts and reception tasks as required
- Supporting infection control and safety protocols throughout the practice

What we're looking for

- Completion of a recognized Dental Assistant qualification or equivalent training




- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilization
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling patient records and documentation
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- A passion for patient care and customer service
- Willingness to continue career development within the dental field
- Previous experience in a dental practice is highly desirable
