Nut and Olive Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced, reliable plumber to join our growing plumbing business servicing the Byron Shire and surrounding areas. We carry out a broad mix of service and maintenance plumbing, residential renovations, gas work and smaller installation projects, so the work is varied. You'll be comfortable working independently, dealing directly with customers and builders, and taking a job from diagnosis or rough-in right through to completion.

Key responsibilities

General residential and commercial plumbing maintenance

Residential renovations and alterations

Bathroom, kitchen and laundry renovations

Current plumbing rough-ins

Fit-offs and commissioning

Water, sewer, waste and drainage alterations

Blocked drains and sewer work

High-pressure water jetting

Drain camera inspections and locating

Hot water system servicing, repairs and replacements

About you





Gas fitting licence/qualifications

Solid plumbing and maintenance experience

Experience with residential renovation rough-ins and fit-offs

Experience with gas servicing, repairs and fault finding

Good diagnostic and problem-solving ability

Current driver's licence

Professional presentation and good customer communication

Ability to work independently

High standard of workmanship and attention to detail

Work vehicle

Quality tools and equipment

Varied work throughout the Byron Shire and surrounding areas

Mix of maintenance, fault finding, gas work and residential renovations

Small business environment without layers of management

High level of autonomy for someone who knows what they're doing
