The Role As a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, you will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive O&G; services to a diverse and growing regional population.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Managing a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological presentations
- Caring for routine and complex pregnancies
- Providing antenatal and postnatal care
- Conducting specialist outpatient clinics
- Performing operative gynaecological procedures
- Managing emergency O&G; presentations
- Coordinating care for women with complex pregnancies
- Working collaboratively with other medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Contributing to high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care
- Supporting the continued development of Women's Health services

Teaching, Leadership & Professional Development This is a RANZCOG-accredited training service , making the position particularly attractive to Consultants who enjoy education, supervision and developing junior doctors. You Will Have Opportunities To

- Supervise and mentor O&G; Registrars
- Teach junior medical officers and medical students
- Contribute to RANZCOG training and education
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement
- Contribute to risk management initiatives




- Assist with departmental policy and service development
- Participate in research
- Support continuing medical education

- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and Current Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG), or equivalent specialist qualifications
- Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain specialist registration
- Broad Consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centred care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- An interest in teaching, education and service development
