About The Role

Opportunity for experienced HR/HC Drivers to step into a broader operations role, with a mix of driving and operational support, working within the aviation and airfreight logistics industry.

As Operations

Supervisor you'll support the day-to-day transport and logistics operations, working closely with drivers and the wider operational team to help ensure daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with transport, logistics or aviation experience who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment. This position is rostered Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00am - 12:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

- Leading and supervising operational staff, monitoring performance, attendance and task completion.
- Supporting daily transport operations and operational requirements.
- Undertaking heavy vehicle driving (HR or HC).
- Maintaining compliance with HVNL, WHS and company policies and procedures.
- Conducting fleet inspections, safety audits and operational checks.
- Liaising with customers, Ops Room and Operational Representatives to maximise service delivery and fleet efficiency.




- Maintaining the presentation and operational readiness of vehicles and equipment.
- Responding to incidents, monitoring operational performance and completing shift reporting.

Essential Requirements

- Current HR or HC Driver's Licence.
- Minimum 3 years' experience within the heavy vehicle, transport or logistics industry.

- Experience within transport, logistics, airfreight or cargo operations.
- Understanding of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WHS requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Sound administrative and computer skills.
- Ability to remain calm, focused and organised in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).

Desirable
- Previous leadership, team leader, leading hand or supervisory experience highly regarded.
