Oracle Fusion Specialist I 12 months contract + potential extensions

We're partnering with well-known State Government Organization on a major Oracle Fusion ERP transformation and are looking for an experienced Oracle Financials Specialist to join the program on an initial 12-month contract.

This is a great prospect to play a key role in one of Victoria's largest enterprise transformation initiatives, working alongside business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams to deliver modern finance processes and systems.

Your new role

As the Oracle Financials Specialist, you'll provide finance subject matter expertise across the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP. You'll help ensure finance processes, system design, testing activities, and business requirements are aligned and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities include

- Supporting Oracle Fusion Finance design, configuration, testing and implementation activities
- Working with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements
- Providing expertise across finance processes including:
- Record-to-Report
- Procure-to-Pay
- Order-to-Cash
- Projects
- Fixed Assets
- EPM Planning & Reporting
- Assisting with data migration, validation and reconciliation activities
- Developing and executing test scenarios, including UAT and integration testing
- Supporting business readiness, training and adoption activities




- Identifying and resolving functional issues, risks and gaps
- Acting as a key liaison between business teams and implementation partners

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working on Oracle Fusion ERP implementations
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials modules, particularly:
- General Ledger
- Projects
- Fixed Assets
- EPM Planning & Reporting
- Experience with requirements gathering, design validation, testing and deployment
- Demonstrated experience supporting data migration, validation and reconciliation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions
- Experience working within large, complex transformation programs

Mandatory Requirements

- Australian Citizenship is highly desirable due to security clearance requirements
- Ability to undergo background and police checks
- Experience working within government or large enterprise environments will be highly regarded
