McArthur is seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director to join the dedicated team at Flagstaff Hill Primary School OSHC. This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging or established leader to support the delivery of a high-quality Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care service that places children, families, and community at the heart of everything we do.

Working closely with the OSHC Director, you will contribute to the leadership, administration, compliance, and day-to-day operations of a well-regarded service, while supporting a team of educators to create engaging and meaningful experiences for children.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Director in the daily management of the OSHC and Vacation Care service.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating engaging programs for school-aged children.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.
- Support, mentor,



and develop educators and other staff members.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and the wider community.
- Assist with administration, reporting, financial processes, and record management.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports children's wellbeing and development.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An ACECQA-approved qualification relevant to school-age care.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- RRHAN-EC certification.
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Geccko Training - Foundations of Child Safety & Advanced Child Safety Training
- Food Handling Certificate - doFoodSafely
- Experience working with groups of children in an education and care setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, child protection, and WHS requirements.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and building positive relationships with children and families.
