About the Role
Due to ongoing growth, Metrowest is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to join our team in a full-time role. This is a senior position requiring a licensed and proven Project Manager with experience successfully delivering multi-million-dollar commercial electrical projects in Australia.

The right candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, project management expertise, and the ability to run complex commercial projects independently while ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and delivery.

Essential Requirements – Must Have

- WA Electrical Licence – applications without a current licence will not be considered.

- Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial electrical projects sector.

- Demonstrated success in managing and delivering $3 million+ commercial electrical projects in Australia.

- A formal Project Management and/or Leadership Training/Qualification will be an added advantage.

- Strong leadership and supervision skills with the ability to manage large teams.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.

- Thorough knowledge of Australian Standards, electrical industry regulations, systems, and products.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

- High-level understanding of project phases, methodologies, and delivery models.





- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

- Positive, proactive “can-do” attitude.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage commercial electrical projects from planning through to delivery.

- Manage project budgets, forecasting labour, materials, and equipment requirements.

- Supervise daily site activities and oversee project teams.

- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

- Ensure strict compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.

- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.

- Provide innovative design and engineering solutions to meet project objectives.

- Drive continuous improvement across project management processes.

- Maintain accurate project reporting, scheduling, and progress tracking.

- Uphold Metrowest company values while fostering solid client relationships.

- Ensure a safe work environment for all staff and contractors.
