Wynnum West Bakery Cafe is a busy local bakery known for quality baked goods, excellent coffee and a warm neighbourhood feel. We are looking for a Baker to join our small, friendly team.
Job type: Casual or Part time, depending on the right fit
Pay: In line with award rates The role
This role involves early morning starts, typically around 1am to 2am, to have fresh baked goods ready for our customers. Weekend availability is a must
Responsibilitie
- Baking bread, pastries and other baked goods to a high standard
- Following recipes and processes to ensure consistent quality
- Preparing products ready for opening
- Keeping the bakery area clean and organised
- Working efficiently to meet early morning deadlines
Requirements
- Own transport essential due to early start times
- Weekend availability required
- Comfortable working early morning shifts
- Reliable and punctual
- Prior baking experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
What we offer
