Villa Terenzio is part of Italian Aged Care Incorporated, a Charitable Not for Profit Organisation. We provide Residential Aged Care Services for 192 residents at Villa Terenzio in Marangaroo in Perth's Northern Suburbs. Villa Terenzio is celebrating its 50th year serving the community.

About the Role

Villa Terenzio is seeking an enthusiastic, and passionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our care team.

- Reporting to the Residential Services Manager, the Physiotherapy Assistant will be responsible for supporting an enthusiastic Clinical Team.
- Assist Physiotherapist in assessment of Resident’s functional mobility.
- Interact with the Residents and their families in a friendly, helpful and positive manner
- Liaise and program plan with the Physiotherapist.
- Educate and support other team members regarding the promotion of independence and mobility programmes.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and contribute to positive morale within the organisation
- Contributes to an efficient and effective caring service within the organisation

What do you need? As a collaborative compassionate member of the team,



ideally with experience within the health and/or aged care sector you will have:

- Previous experience in aged care is essential.
- Certificate III/IV Allied Health Assistant.
- Demonstrated experience as Physiotherapy Assistant with knowledge and competency in providing a range of therapeutic interventions/activities.
- Excellent time management skills.
- An outgoing and friendly personality.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- The skills to be adaptable to suit the needs of the residents.
- A current National Police Clearance (not older than 6 months) and a visa with working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
- Covid Vaccination and Current Flu Vaccine are required for this role.
