About the role The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mining and civil construction along with general labouring duties as required across a range of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Safe and effective operation of mining and civil construction equipment
- General labouring duties as required across a range of projects
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, dozers, watercarts and dumptrucks
About you
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery
- Current and relevant machinery Tickets/Competencies, presented prior to commencement
- Current drivers license
- Ability to successfully complete regular drug and alcohol screening
- Good knowledge of safe operating practices
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Willing to undertake general labouring duties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pride in work and care for machinery
- Good communication skills
