As a Podiatrist with Social Club Ability Services, you will provide assessment, treatment and ongoing foot-care services to clients in their homes and community settings. Pay negotiable
Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive podiatry and foot-health assessments
- Providing general foot and nail care
- Managing common foot conditions, including corns, calluses and skin and nail concerns
- Providing diabetic foot assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Assessing clients at risk of falls or mobility-related complications
- Providing education regarding foot health, footwear and preventative care
- Developing individualised treatment and management plans
- Making recommendations for appropriate footwear, orthotics or other supports where clinically indicated
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
- Liaising with care coordinators, support coordinators, families, GPs and other allied health professionals
About you
- A recognised qualification in Podiatry
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent clinical documentation and organisational skills
- A compassionate and person-centred approach to care
