Are you a Podiatrist looking for the opportunity to develop your clinical skills while enjoying an exceptional lifestyle?
Footprints Podiatry is seeking an enthusiastic and easy-going Podiatrist to join its experienced, family-focused team on Tasmania's beautiful North West Coast. Whether you are looking to further develop a particular clinical interest or enjoy the variety that regional practice offers, this role provides the opportunity to build your skills in a supportive environment.
With mentoring tailored to your individual needs, longer consultation times and a strong focus on patient outcomes rather than sales targets, this is an opportunity to become the clinician you want to be while enjoying genuine work/life balance.
The Position:
Working across Footprints Podiatry's purpose-built clinics in Ulverstone and Burnie, with the opportunity to work from its smaller Smithton clinic, you will enjoy a diverse and interesting caseload. No two days are quite the same. You may see everything from diabetic foot wounds and child development concerns to running injuries, biomechanics and nail surgery. Clinicians are encouraged to develop their own areas of expertise and explore the aspects of podiatry they are most passionate about.
You will be supported by an experienced team and have the opportunity to learn from Julian, the Senior Podiatrist, who has more than 30 years of experience mentoring clinicians across both public and private healthcare settings. Mentoring can be tailored to your individual needs, with opportunities to develop your skills in areas including biomechanics, nail surgery, anaesthetics, SWIFT wart treatment and shockwave therapy.
Regular team meetings and professional development sessions provide further opportunities to share knowledge, learn from your colleagues and continue developing throughout your career.
Importantly, the focus is on outcomes, not sales.
Footprints Podiatry values the trust it has built with its patients and prioritises honest advice, quality care and better patient outcomes over aggressive KPIs or sales targets.
All work is clinic-based, with no nursing home or home visits required.
What's on Offer:
- Attractive remuneration package from $128,000+ including super
- $5,000 relocation support to help make your move to Tasmania easier
- Five days of paid study leave annually
- A standard 36.5-hour working week, including an early Friday finish
