Manual Wash Operator – Entry‑Level Forklift Opportunity

Bathurst, NSW | Day Shift

CHEP Australia is looking for a Manual Wash Operator to join our Bathurst Service Centre, reporting to the Dayshift Supervisor .

This is a hands‑on, adaptable role where the main task is manual pallet washing , whilst being self-sufficient through limited forklift operation. The secondary task will be pallet repair with regular exposure depending on rosters.

If you hold a forklift licence but are new to operating , this role is a great foot‑in‑the‑door to gain experience while supporting other operational areas.

What you’ll be doing

- Manually washing wooden and plastic pallets

- Inspecting pallets for cleanliness and quality

- Pallet repair when required

- Operating a forklift when authorised





- Working safely in a busy service centre environment

- Forklift licence essential (experience not required)

- Valuable safety awareness and a strong work ethic

- Willingness to be flexible and help where needed

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
