The Opportunity

As we transition from project delivery into operations, we're seeking an experienced Manager – Geology, Resources & Exploration to lead the geological strategy that will underpin our mine planning, grade control, resource growth and operational success.

Reporting to the Operations Director, this is a newly created leadership role with responsibility for resource governance, mine geology, grade control and near-mine exploration. You'll work across Perth and site teams to ensure the geological basis for planning, mining and public reporting is technically robust, operationally practical and ready for first ore.

The Role

This is a high-impact technical leadership position where you'll provide owner-side oversight across the full geological value chain from resource models through to ore delivered to the mill.

You'll also play a key role in building the site's geological capability and supporting future resource growth around the Kobada operation.

Duties include;

- Lead geological governance, resource modelling and reserve inputs
- Maintain ownership of geological databases, interpretations and data quality
- Prepare, update and oversee resource estimation, classification and technical assurance
- Support JORC reporting and Competent Person requirements
- Develop and implement mine geology and grade control systems and standards
- Establish robust QAQC systems, laboratory performance monitoring and assay validation
- Develop reconciliation processes from resource model through to mine and mill
- Work closely with Mine Planning, Mining and Processing to optimise ore definition and blending
- Design and implement with the site team,



near-mine exploration and resource conversion programs
- Manage consultants, drilling programs, laboratories and technical studies
- Recruit, mentor and provide technical leadership to the geology and grade control teams

Your First Six Months will include:

- Completing the geological and resource handover from the Operations Director
- Validating resource models supporting the Life of Mine and Year One mine plans
- Finalising grade control strategies and geological QAQC systems ahead of first ore
- Review/update geological data management and assist establishment of reconciliation processes
- Building up the site mine geology function and recruitment plan
- Developing the 2027 near-mine exploration and resource conversion strategy

About You You'll be an experienced mining geologist with a strong operational background and the ability to balance technical excellence with practical mining outcomes.

You'll ideally bring

- Degree qualifications in Geology (postgraduate qualifications advantageous)
- Approximately 10+ years' experience within open pit gold mining
- Extensive experience across resource geology, mine geology and grade control
- Strong resource modelling, geological database management and reconciliation experience
- Practical knowledge of geological software and mine planning systems
- Experience supporting JORC Mineral Resource reporting
- Competent Person status, or be well progressed towards CP accreditation
- Strong leadership and mentoring capability
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across operations, consultants and executive teams




- Previous West African experience and French language skills are advantageous, but not essential
