Role Description The Print Production Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in South Brisbane, QLD. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring print production equipment, preparing jobs according to specifications, and ensuring print quality and consistency across all outputs. Daily tasks include setting up and calibrating machines, loading materials, performing test runs, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and coordinating with the Production Manager to meet deadlines.

The role also involves finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, or packaging, maintaining a clean and safe work area,



and following production schedules and quality control procedures. The operator is expected to support continuous improvement in processes and contribute to efficient, timely delivery of customer orders.

Qualifications

- Experience operating print production equipment and familiarity with common printing processes.
- Basic understanding of pre-press workflows, file preparation, and working with print-ready artwork.
- Attention to detail in color matching, print quality checks, and finishing processes such as cutting, binding, and packaging.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight production deadlines.
- Comfort working in a quick-paced, hands-on workplace with a focus on safety and equipment care.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with design, sales, and customer service teams.
- Previous experience in a print shop, manufacturing, or related production environment is a must.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and perform manual tasks associated with print production.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and technologies and adapt to evolving production requirements.
- Certificate or vocational training in printing, graphic arts, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
