As a Private Patient Officer at Liverpool Hospital, you will play a vital role in supporting patients, strengthening hospital revenue, and contributing to the delivery of quality healthcare services. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by combining exceptional customer service, stakeholder engagement, and administrative expertise to achieve positive outcomes for both patients and the organisation.
- Empower patients to make informed healthcare funding decisions by providing clear guidance on private health insurance, hospital cover, and admission processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, clinical teams, health funds, and external stakeholders to ensure a positive and seamless patient experience.
- Contribute directly to funding that supports frontline healthcare services, helping maximise revenue opportunities that benefit patient care across the hospital.
- Apply strong problem-solving and communication skills to manage enquiries, resolve complex issues, and provide accurate advice regarding patient financial and admission matters.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Financial Services team and work closely with nursing, medical, and administrative staff to support high-quality patient care and service delivery

- Are a confident problem solver, capable of navigating complex situations, resolving issues, and achieving positive outcomes for patients and stakeholders.
- Bring experience in customer service, administration, healthcare, insurance, or revenue-related roles, supported by strong Microsoft Office and computer literacy skills.
- Can work both independently and collaboratively, contributing positively to a team environment and participating in a rotating 7-day roster.

- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills with ability to critically analyse information and prepare transparent concise reports and business/client communications for management.
- Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster including after-hours.
