An excellent opportunity is available for a Process Improvement Engineer to join an established manufacturing operation and play a key role in driving Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and operational excellence .

Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Production teams, you’ll identify opportunities to improve productivity, eliminate waste, solve process challenges and embed sustainable improvements across the site.

The Role

You’ll take a hands-on approach to improving manufacturing performance, with responsibilities including:

- Supporting the implementation of a structured operational excellence framework across the site
- Applying Lean principles to eliminate waste and improve process performance
- Implementing standard work, visual management and other Lean practices
- Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and overall operational performance
- Analysing operational data and KPIs to identify performance gaps and root causes
- Facilitating structured problem-solving and corrective actions
- Tracking improvement initiatives to ensure changes are effective and sustainable
- Preparing KPI reports, improvement updates and technical documentation
- Working collaboratively with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders

About You To be successful, you’ll ideally have:




- An Engineering qualification in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Previous exposure to process improvement, Lean or continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- A practical, hands-on approach to engineering and improvement initiatives

Highly Regarded Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Smart Factory or Industry 4.0
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Industrial IoT (IIoT)
- Digital manufacturing tools
- Monitoring production KPIs such as OEE, throughput, scrap, downtime and productivity through digital dashboards
