Process Operator/ Mail Sorter

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Process Operators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently sorting and processing mail items while following company standards, procedures and safety requirements.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy and works well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Sort and process mail items in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Operate mail processing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure mail items are processed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Follow all company policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Monitor equipment and processes and report any issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily processing targets.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy and productivity.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to perform duties involving lifting, bending and twisting.
- A reliable and positive approach to work.




- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work across various shifts.
- The ability to successfully complete a national police check and drug and alcohol screening.
- Previous experience in mail sorting, warehousing, logistics, processing or a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
