Processing Manager

Roster: 4 days on:3 days off – FIFO Perth (other rosters can be considered)

About Us

Meeka Metals Limited (MEK) operates Western Australia’s newest gold mine, the Murchison Gold Project, 50kms north of Meekatharra and requires an experienced Processing Manager to drive production through the Company’s processing plant.

The project comprises both open pit and underground mining, with an initial mine life of 9 years. Gold production commenced in July 2025 and site activities are rapidly ramping up.

About the Role The Processing Manager will report into the General Manager and oversee the operation of the CIL processing facility. You will be a capable and driven leader with a focus on safe productivity. The role is offered on an 4:3 roster, FIFO from Perth but other rosters would be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the process team and actively manage the facility
- Produce annual, monthly and quarterly budgets and forecasts.
- Be responsible for overall execution of plan on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and report on variances to the plan.
- Supervise processing team performance and personnel development whilst maintaining up to date Standard Operating Procedures for routine tasks.
- Liaise with all stakeholders internally and externally to maximise plant and equipment utilisation.
- Attend site safety meetings for all crews within your department
- Compile and submit capital expenditure applications where appropriate.
- Manage, supervise and coordinate required project works.
- Management of all tailing’s storage facilities whether a TSF or in-pit.
- Ensure the security of the Processing Plant including the gold room.
- Provide input to maintenance on the process plant and help coordinate maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with MEK safety policies, The Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 as well as other appropriate legislation.

About You





- Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Chemical or Mineral Processing or related discipline.
- Ideally, you will have at +7 years supervisory experience within a gold processing operation, particularly in a CIL plant.
- Solid technical and working knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams to meet set targets and objectives.
- Robust ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic thinker when it comes to forward planning, risk management, risk mitigation and business improvements.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, Pronto and Citect.
- Valid C Western Australian Drivers Licence.
- Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Valid National Police Clearance
