Production Associate:
Indigeco is recruiting a Production Associate for a full-time opportunity with a leading manufacturing organisation based in Kilsyth.
This position is joining a small manufacturing line producing filters of varying sizes and shapes. The role involves operating production equipment, completing assembly and manufacturing activities, performing quality checks and working across multiple workstations to meet production targets.
This opportunity would suit someone with previous production, manufacturing, process work or machine operating experience who is reliable, safety-focused and motivated to learn.
The business is willing to train the right person who demonstrates a proactive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate manual and automated production equipment safely and effectively
- Manufacture and assemble products in line with quality and production requirements
- Work across multiple production workstations as required
- Perform repetitive production and manual handling activities
- Handle products of varying sizes and shapes weighing up to approximately 9 kg
- Work to required production targets, cycle times and quality standards
- Complete quality inspections and identify non-conforming products or materials
- Follow standard operating procedures, process documentation and manufacturing requirements
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
- Complete routine housekeeping and basic operator care activities
- Identify and report equipment, safety or quality issues
- Work collaboratively with production, maintenance and support teams
- Participate in continuous improvement activities relating to safety, quality and production
YOUR REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, process work, machine operation or a similar environment
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks and manual handling of products up to approximately 9 kg
- Ability to work to production targets and defined cycle times
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team
- Motivated, proactive and willing to learn different production processes
- Comfortable rotating across multiple workstations
- Ability to follow work instructions, procedures and safety requirements
- Availability to work the required onsite shift in Kilsyth
Previous manufacturing experience is highly regarded; however, training can be provided to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
SHIFT DETAILS
- Approximately 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Approximately 9.5-hour working days
- RDO arrangement
- Friday may be utilised for overtime and maintenance activities
- Fully onsite position based in Kilsyth
- Shift arrangements may change depending on future operational requirements
