We’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day performance of our production team at Prima PMI.

Working closely with Team Leaders and reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, supporting team development and ensuring service levels and quality standards are consistently achieved.

The Role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll support Team Leaders and help coordinate daily production activity.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining robust quality standards and supporting the development of the production team.

Key responsibilities include

- Supporting Team Leaders to achieve production targets and maintain service level agreements

- Leading toolbox meetings and supporting daily production coordination

- Monitoring workflow and work in progress to ensure efficient production flow

- Working with the scheduling team to align on rosters and escalation where required

- Coordinating with the warehouse team to manage stock availability

- Monitoring operational reports and data to identify risks or improvement opportunities

- Conducting monthly 1:1 meetings with Team Leaders to support development

- Supporting performance conversations and coaching where required





- Maintaining strong quality standards and reducing internal defect rates

- Escalating major operational challenges to the Production Manager when required

- You’ll also collaborate across the business with teams including Customer Service, Warehouse, OHS and Production Trainers to support smooth operations.

About You

You’re someone who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems and supporting people to perform at their best.

You’ll bring

- Previous experience supervising or leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment

- Experience working in manufacturing or print production environments

- Familiarity with production management systems and operational reporting

- Understanding of quality control and root cause analysis

- Experience working with production machinery or process lines

- Strong OHS awareness

You’ll also have the leadership skills needed to support front-line teams, including:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- The ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Critical thinking and practical problem solving

- Emotional intelligence when working with teams
