About the position The Program Leader Workforce Strategy and Projects position leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Toowoomba Regional Council’s workforce strategy and organisational effectiveness initiatives. The role provides strategic leadership in workforce planning and capability development to ensure Council has the capacity and skills required to achieve current and future business objectives. Through workforce analytics, strategic planning and capability frameworks, the position delivers evidence-based workforce solutions that support organisational performance, talent management, leadership development and workforce effectiveness.

- This is a permanent full-time opportunity located in the Toowoomba CBD.
- The salary range for this position is $128,155.76 - $144,499.17 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation, or pro rata part-time.

How to be successful in this position

- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology, or other related field with substanitial experience.
- Extensive experince in strategic workforce planning,



organisational development, workforce analytics and/or organisational effectiveness in a complex organisational setting.
- Professional certification with the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), or an equivalent internationally recognised HR professional certification (e.g. CIPD, SHRM) would be highly desirable
- Hold a current 'C' Class driver's license.
- Proven abilty to lead and deliver organisational wide programs.
- Highly developed analytical, research and problem solving skills.
- Experience developing, implementing and evaluating workforce strategies.
- Exceptional relationship and communication skills.
- Alignment with Council's values.
