Moyne Shire Council currently have an opportunity to work with council’s Project Management Office in the projects and places team on a fixed term contract. The successful applicant will work on a range of construction and capital projects across the shire, ideally suited for someone with practical works and project management knowledge, and a positive range of communication and planning skills.

To be successful in this role you will need

Qualifications

Essential

- Driver licence
- Employee working with children check
- Relevant degree or diploma qualification with several years’ experience or lesser formal qualifications and / or extensive experience in the field.

Experience

Essential

- Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of major projects, construction and/or project management.

Key selection criteria 1

Experience in coordinating projects and tasks ensuring milestones, deliverables and timelines are met.

Key selection criteria 2

Experience in working with contractors in construction, capital works or strategic planning.





Key selection criteria 3

Deliver clear communication including objectives, tasks, expectations and conflict resolution.

Key selection criteria 4

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, whilst working to strict deadlines
