I am partnering with a large, purpose-driven organisation undertaking a significant digital transformation program. With a strong focus on innovation, customer experience, and operational excellence, this organisation is investing heavily in its digital capabilities and is seeking an experienced delivery leader to drive enterprise-wide change.

Your new role

As the Head of Project Delivery & Digital Transformation, you will lead the Project Delivery function and oversee a complex portfolio of digital and operational initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are prioritised, governed, funded, delivered, and embedded successfully across the organisation.

Working closely with executive stakeholders, you will drive portfolio performance, oversee investment management and budget allocation, provide executive-level reporting, and foster a cooperative delivery culture that enables successful business outcomes.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, champion agile and hybrid delivery practices, and ensure projects align with strategic priorities while delivering measurable value to customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and continuously improve enterprise project delivery capabilities.
- Manage a portfolio of digital and business transformation initiatives.
- Oversee funding requests, budget allocation, financial governance, and expenditure reporting.
- Provide executive dashboard reporting on portfolio performance, risks, issues, and outcomes.
- Drive agile, iterative, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.
- Establish and enhance governance, assurance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
- Manage demand intake, initiative prioritisation, and portfolio planning activities.




- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to business, digital, and transformation strategies alongside senior leadership.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will be a proven portfolio, PMO, or transformation leader with experience delivering large-scale digital and operational change programs.

You will bring:

- Extensive experience leading project portfolio delivery and transformation functions.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Lean, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams within complex stakeholder environments.
- Expertise in portfolio governance, financial management, resource planning, risk management, and executive reporting.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing significant project investments and budgets.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive-level influence.
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for innovation and service improvement.
- Proven ability to drive organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
