About the role
You will manage multiple commercial projects that range from small to medium in size, often running at the same time across the Wagga Wagga region and Southern NSW. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who likes to be trusted to get on with the job. You will have the autonomy to organise your day, coordinate site schedules and make practical project decisions, while still having direct access to the owners for support, direction and commercial guidance when needed.

Key responsibilities
- Taking day-to-day ownership of allocated commercial projects from planning through to completion and handover
- Coordinating programs, onboarding, site activity, labour resources, materials, suppliers and internal resources
- Managing project costs, variations, claims, procurement and commercial documentation including certification and O&M; requirements
- Maintaining strong communication and relationships with clients, builders, consultants, subcontractors and the internal team
- Monitoring quality, safety, compliance and project records across active sites
- Identifying issues early and solving problems in a practical, commercially sensible way
- Working closely with the owners to improve systems, reporting,
processes and the overall performance of the commercial stream
About you
- You have experience delivering commercial building projects and understand how to manage scope, time, cost, quality, safety and stakeholder expectations
- You have some understanding or familiarity with plasterboard systems, suspended ceiling systems, lightweight partitions and other wall and ceiling lining products
- You are comfortable coordinating multiple projects at once and moving between sites
- You can read drawings and specifications, communicate clearly with trades and clients, and keep accurate project records
- You have strong commercial awareness and can manage costs, variations, procurement and practical project decisions
- You are organised, reliable and able to operate with autonomy while knowing when to seek guidance
- You bring sound judgement, strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative leadership style
- You may hold a tertiary qualification in project management, construction management or a related area, or have equivalent practical experience or trade qualification
