This is a robust seat: Project Manager inside the in-house construction team of a Brisbane property group that delivers its own residential communities across South East Queensland.
They are not a contractor living job to job. They control the product, they build it, and they stay with the work through handover. A thousand-plus homes are already delivered, with a healthy pipeline of communities still to come. The build team is well resourced and set up for design-and-construct, not a pure construct-only model.
You will run live residential community projects, from townhouses through to larger built-form, under a D&C; delivery model. Day to day that looks like:
- Own the programme from start-on-site through to handover, including look-aheads, trade interfaces, and keeping the date
- Run cost on the job: packages, variations, forecasts, and a clean paper trail
- Coordinate consultants and the internal design / development people so constructability is sorted before it hits the site
- Let and manage trade packages, then hold the subcontractors to quality, safety,
and programme
- Walk the work, close out defects, and get the project through practical completion without a mess at the end
- Be the on-the-ground point for the build team and the in-house client-side people
This suits a construction Project Manager or Senior Project Manager who has delivered multi-residential or community work for a mid-tier builder, or for an in-house construct team sitting beside a developer. Straight commercial D&C; is relevant. Volume display-home, civil-only, mining, infrastructure, or energy is not.
We are not naming the group. If you have delivered good residential or mixed-use work in Brisbane and you want a builder that owns its own pipeline, this is the conversation.
