About the Opportunity

Genus is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of the Parron Wind Farm project.

Genus has been engaged to deliver Design & Construct (D&C;) high‑voltage infrastructure works, including civil, electrical, and structural works associated with a 330kV High‑Capacity Western Power Transmission Terminal Station.

This greenfield renewable energy project requires a technically strong and highly capable project leader with experience across high-voltage and transmission infrastructure, substations, and distribution networks, together with the ability to lead people, engage stakeholders, and communicate with confidence in a high-voltage, fast-paced construction environment.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

Overseeing and directing construction activities from conception to completion

- Managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and contract deliverables
- Coordinating construction teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with design, quality, and client specifications
- Building and maintaining solid client relationships and ensuring high client satisfaction
- Leading project reporting, risk management, and performance tracking
- Driving continuous improvement across project operations, documentation, and processes
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing team to achieve project and business objectives
- Promoting and upholding Genus’ SHEQ standards and ensuring a safe working environment

About you

You’re an experienced, technically grounded and people-focused project leader who can confidently lead complex electrical infrastructure projects and bring people and stakeholders with you.

You will bring

- Experience across high-voltage, transmission lines, substations and distribution infrastructure, including 66kV and 33kV systems, ideally within mining, energy or major infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and high-performing teams
- Strong commercial, scheduling, risk management and project delivery capability
- Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence, articulate complex technical matters and effectively tell the story of a project
- Experience working with or alongside Australian energy authorities
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and project management software
