About the role An opportunity is available for a 12 month temporary assignment as an experienced Project Manager to join a global renewable energy technology organisation supporting the delivery of major utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across Australia.

Working within the Large-Scale Projects team, this role will take ownership of an existing portfolio of renewable energy projects following contract award, managing delivery through to commissioning and project close-out.

This is a highly customer-facing role requiring someone who can quickly understand the commercial and technical requirements of each project, coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders and manage several projects at different stages of delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Managing the delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects from post-contract handover through to commissioning and close-out

- Reviewing project contracts, scope, technical requirements, milestones and commercial obligations

- Coordinating internal and external project kick-off meetings

- Managing multiple projects concurrently across different stages of delivery

- Monitoring project schedules, key milestones, equipment deliveries and documentation requirements

- Identifying project risks and proactively managing potential cost or schedule impacts

- Managing contract variations, scope changes and other commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle

- Coordinating equipment supply and delivery requirements with customers, suppliers and internal teams





- Ensuring technical specifications and project deliverables align with contractual requirements

- Maintaining regular communication with customers and providing clear project updates

About you

- MUST HAVE demonstrated Project Management experience delivering utility-scale solar projects, typically 2MW and above

- Experience taking meaningful ownership of the broader project delivery rather than managing only an individual construction or installation package

- Strong experience across project planning, scheduling, budgets, contracts, risk, variations and stakeholder management

- Experience managing projects from contract award or handover through delivery, commissioning and close-out

- Strong electrical and technical understanding within renewable energy or power generation environments

- Confidence communicating with customers, contractors, engineers, suppliers and senior internal stakeholders

- Robust commercial awareness and experience interpreting contractual obligations
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- A relevant Engineering, Project Management or technical qualification
