Role Description The Project Supervisor Dewater is a full-time, on-site role based in Logan Central, QLD. This role oversees dewatering operations on customer sites, including planning, setting up, monitoring, and adjusting dewatering systems to meet project requirements and safety standards. The position involves supervising field teams, coordinating equipment delivery and installation, and ensuring all work complies with environmental and regulatory guidelines.

The supervisor liaises with customers, project managers, and internal stakeholders to schedule work, resolve issues, and provide progress updates.



Daily responsibilities include conducting site inspections, managing risk assessments and documentation, troubleshooting technical problems, and promoting safe work practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Experience in dewatering operations, pump systems, and fluid handling equipment, ideally within construction or civil infrastructure environments.
- Skills in supervising field teams, coordinating site activities, and managing contractors or vendors to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Competence in safety management, including risk assessments, safe work method statements, and adherence to WHS and environmental regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, site layouts, and technical specifications, with sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to build relationships with clients, provide technical guidance, and manage expectations on site.
- Organizational skills for scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting, with proficiency in basic computer applications and digital documentation tools.
- Relevant trade qualification or certificate in civil construction, mechanical, or related field is desirable; prior experience in equipment hire or temporary works is an advantage.
- Current driver’s license and the ability to work on-site across varying conditions, including participation in an on-call or after-hours roster if required.
