Provisional Psychologist | Permanent Ongoing | Private Practice
Full time (part time can also be considered)
Meaningful work, in a practice built for your clinical growth.
The role
- See clients from your own consulting room at our Albury clinic
- Children, teens and adults, across a genuinely broad caseload
- A mix of NDIS-funded and privately referred work, including a growing stream of cognitive assessments
- Collaborate with other allied health providers where care is shared
- Liaise with GPs, schools, families and support coordinators where their involvement matters
- Intake and continuity shared across the team, with communication and coordination carried by our admin and client experience team
Our internship is deliberately broad. You'll see a wide range of presentations, and it's what psychologists and supervisors alike tell us they value most about training here.
About Accord
Accord Health is a therapist-owned psychology and allied health practice in Albury, built around a clear idea. We believe the best care for our community starts with being a genuinely good place to work, and we put real effort into being exactly that.
Our work
Our work spans adult, child and adolescent mental health, family stress and separation, developmental assessment, parenting strain, grief and loss, men’s counselling, and injury and workplace adjustment, alongside occupational therapy for people managing neurodevelopmental conditions, disability, and changed capacity. We are a team spanning psychology, social work, rehabilitation counselling, occupational therapy, and paediatric therapeutic support.
Clinical leadership and peer support
Adam, the Managing Director,
is a social worker by background and highly approachable, and you will have experienced colleagues nearby. So when a session turns difficult at four in the afternoon, you are not left holding it alone.
Around that is a rhythm that holds the team close: a brief weekly huddle that keeps us in step, a monthly reflective practice group, monthly team collaboration meetings, and a monthly team lunch. Principal supervision for your internship is provided by board-approved supervisors, alongside additional in-house supervision with an experienced team. Your colleagues bring a strong biopsychosocial range, so when someone's needs cross into function, family or daily living, the right person is often close by.
How Accord works
Meaningful clinical work, done well, in a close team and a practice that genuinely backs its clinicians. Some genuine flexibility in how you organise your week, within your clinical commitments. You'll carry real responsibility, with the supervision, reflective practice and colleagues around you to grow into it. That's the practice we're building, and it's the one we're inviting you into.
