Feel to Heal Psychology

Canberra

We’re looking for psychologists who want to do psychology a little differently.

At Feel to Heal Psychology , we believe psychology should feel human.

We’re a neurodiversity-affirming, down-to-earth psychology practice in Canberra that is passionate about making therapy feel less clinical, less intimidating and a whole lot more real .

We’re growing our team and looking for a Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist who is warm, curious, creative and genuinely loves working with people. New grads are perfect as there is onsite supervision, but happy to embrace whoever has the right vibe!

What we do

We’re lucky enough to work with a wonderfully diverse bunch of humans across the lifespan, providing:

- Individual therapy with children, adolescents and adults
- Neurodiversity-affirming assessments across ADHD, Autism and other neurotypes
- Group therapy and psychoeducational programs
- Parent and family support
- Telehealth services for clients outside Canberra
- A growing range of specialised programs developed in-house by our team

One of the things we’re particularly proud of is Growing with ADHD ... our group program supporting kids, adults and parents to understand ADHD, work with their brains and build practical strategies for everyday life. And we’re not stopping there. We’re continually developing new groups, resources and ways of doing therapy that are engaging, evidence-informed and actually useful outside the therapy room.

What makes us different

We take psychology seriously. We just don’t think that means we have to take ourselves too seriously.

We’re passionate about evidence-based practice, career development and doing good clinical work, while also believing that therapy can involve laughter, creativity, sitting on the floor with a kid,

using a game to teach a therapeutic concept or completely rethinking the way we approach something because the old way just isn’t working.

Our practice is grounded in authentic connection, celebrating diversity and empowering people .

We’d love someone who...

- Is a registered Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA
- Is genuinely interested in neurodiversity-affirming practice
- Can think creatively and flexibly about how to engage clients
- Values authentic relationships with clients and colleagues
- Is reflective, collaborative and happy to ask questions
- Has a good sense of humour and doesn't mind the occasional chaotic day!

You don't need to be an expert in everything we do. We care much more about who you are, your vibe and your willingness to learn than having the perfect list of experience on your CV. What you’ll get at FTH

We want our psychologists to actually enjoy coming to work .

You’ll have

- A genuinely supportive and collaborative team that focuses on self-care of staff
- Full administrative support who always have your back
- Regular supervision and opportunities for professional development
- The opportunity to work across therapy, assessment and groups
- Opportunities to develop and run group programs
- A practice that values creativity and encourages clinicians to bring their own interests and strengths
- Flexibility around your caseload, hours and areas of clinical interest
- A workplace where you can be yourself

If that sounds like your kind of psychology practice, we’d love to hear from you. Come join the Feel to Heal fam. ?

Apply now with your CV and a short cover letter telling us a little about yourself, your clinical interests and why Feel to Heal sounds like somewhere you’d like to work.
