At Our Space Psychology, we believe finding the right person matters more than fitting someone into a predetermined position. We are open to shaping the role around the right person and the life they want to lead.

We are growing our team and looking for a psychologist who genuinely connects with our practice ethos and can work alongside our Principal Psychologist, Fergus Trevethan. We want someone with a genuine curiosity about what makes people tick and a desire to work alongside clients to find real, practical ways to improve their lives.

A Little About Us

- Our Space Psychology is an established and growing private practice on Tamborine Mountain, approximately 40 minutes from the central Gold Coast and 60 mins from Brisbane.
- We work across the lifespan, with a strong focus on children, adolescents, parents and families.
- Our services include psychological therapy, parent and family support, and neurodevelopmental, cognitive and educational assessments.
- Our clinical approach is grounded in evidence based practice, with a strong focus on Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and family systems approaches.
- Our therapy dogs, Alby and Honey, are also part of the clinic. They help clients feel at ease and can play a valuable role in building rapport and strengthening the therapeutic alliance.
- Our admin team manages client enquiries, referrals, bookings, confirmations, billing, payments and routine communication.




- You will work alongside Fergus Trevethan our Principal Psychologist. Fergus is a registered psychologist and registered teacher with more than 20 years of experience across psychology, education and youth work. He brings extensive expertise in supporting children, adolescents, adults and families, as well as completing cognitive, educational, functional, behavioural and NDIS assessments.

About you - Applications are welcomed from AHPRA registered, clinical and other endorsed psychologists at all stages of their careers, including early career psychologists, experienced psychologists seeking a more sustainable way to practise, and psychologists returning to the workforce. A Role That Can Fit Your Life - The role could be casual, part time or full time. It may involve school hours, one or two set days each week, a gradually developing caseload or a fuller working week. We want to understand your personal commitments, preferred client groups, professional interests and longer term goals.
